"Hullo!" Used to this mode of affairs now, Evie stands up, smiling. "Do come in. I was hoping someone would stop by. I'm Evie Carnahan. Would you like something to drink?"

Evie bounced up on her toes, smiling, and said, "A pleasure to meet you, Willow. And yes, I'm a 'newbie'. Tell me, do they have old-bies? And I have lemonade and iced mochas. Which would you prefer?"

Dean had just come back from a handwavey run around the grounds, taken a quick shower, and decided to see what people were up to today. And by "people" he meant "Evie and Layla". He knocked on the door frame of 512, since the door itself was open, smiling at Evie curled up in the window seat. "Hey," he said, shaking his still-wet hair a little.

Layla peeked her head in a bit to see if Evie was around before heading fully into their room. "Hey," she said brightly.

"Layla! There you are!" Evie waved to her roommate, smiling happily. "How is your weekend progressing?"

"Really well. It's been quiet, and not filled with nearly as much homework as I was afraid it would," she replied. "How's yours going?"

"Very well when it comes to classes, but..." She sighed. "We don't have to worry about dressing me up for an ice-cream date. Jim -- Ellison, it appears-- is now dating Lana. If I go out to ice-cream, it shall probably be with both of them." She looke morose.
