Layla perked up a little in bed when she heard Evie getting ready, but didn't bother opening her eyes. "Hey. Are you getting ready already?" she asked.

"Yes. 'Detention' awaits my presence." Nefetiri looked over at her 'roommate' and said, "Questioning the sexual practices of others should be restricted to those without authority. Unfortunately." She took out the kohl and began to apply it to her eyes. "Inform anyone who seeks me of my absence, please."

Evie's tone made Layla wake up a little more and sit up. "Um. Okay, I can do that," she said. "Are you feeling okay?" she asked, when she noticed the makeup.

"I am well." Nefertiri cast her a mild, unconcerned glance. "You should return to your dreams, as you are not constrained by duties to the school. If you wish, you could partake of luncheon with me, at the time allowed." She dropped her nightgown and reached for the linen dress in her closet, donning it quickly, then putting on her jewelry.
