Nefertiri had been very pleased to receive Tyler's phone call and had prepared for the evening accordingly; bathing and using perfumed oils on her skin, and obtaining a small tray of fruits and juices

Of course Tyler hadn't actually known what he wanted to show Nefertiti -- besides the obvious -- but a little improvisation never hurt anyone. After some rummaging through the milquetoast's stuff, he came up with two mugs, some hot cocoa mix, and a decent-looking book of boxing photos. He made the cocoa and balanced it on the book as he knocked on her door, whistling under his breath.

Nefertiri took a moment, then opened the door, and smiled at the picture in front of her. "Tyler. With gifts. Come in." She held the door open, pleased she'd already turned the lights down low, only the lamp on her desk illuminating the room.

"Of course," Tyler said, sniffing the air and noting the oils, and that Nefertiti seemed to be dressed carefully. This was nice.

He walked through the door and sat on her floor, then carefully offered her a mug. "I brought drinking chocolate, and some photographs you might want to look at," he said.

Nefertiri accepted the cup and took a sip, smiling in appreciation, her eyes closing. "Photographs? Of what?" She gestured to the bed, and said, "Please. Make yourself comfortable. You are my guest."
