colors of fall
took some pictures yesterday afternoon before the sun went down. some nice ones. i've been telling myself i have to go out and take pictures more. hopefully the weather will coincide with my days off. i'm going to be leaving the bank, it's bringing me down. i've been telling myself i will make my off time productive though. picture taking, programming. i hope i adhere to that.
i acquired a number for a guy in the recruiting team at vonage. finally got through to him this morning. it seems the custumer care positions are on hold for a while, but i can send him my resume and he'll forward it to the people who hire the tier 2 tech support people. i was told that i was going to be recommended for tier 2 anyway, so hopefully this just speeds the process.
i've been feeling lately like i'm nbot where everyone else is in life. it's mostly the fact that i don't have what i consider a real job i guess. i've been out of school almost 2 years now and i still have nothing to show for it. eh, enough whining. i should just send out more resumes and try harder.
it seems i have somehow fried the usb ports on my PC. this has made it impossible to use things like a keyboard or mouse, which is unfortunate. i'm going to see if i can get the front ports on my case to work for a while, otherwise it may be new motherboard time (maybe a few new other components too if i can swing it). i hope that will not be the case though, i was going to put off upgrades for a while still. at least the mac still works. at least i can still play games on the ps2.
mountain biking as of late has been fun. and muddy. but fun. it's getting cooler out though, i'm not sure if i'll be doing it much longer, and if i do, how i'll be gearing up to keep warm and dry.
i have to make myself some lunch and go to work at the bank and tell them i'm going to be leaving. enjoy the few pictures i posted.
