I suppose I'll do a better job of convincing people I'm still alive if I post a bit more often. I like to ramble once in a while in a pseudo-scholastic fashion, so I think I will. As long as petie_s doesn't mind me horning in on his area of expertise ( Read more... )

Victoria Day. A three-day weekend that nobody really knows why we get any more, only that we must shoot fireworks when we can. (:

Animated GIFs are a lot more work than Flash. In Flash you make a framework and animate that, as I understand it, but you have to redraw each picture for an animated GIF.

Your comic is cool the way it is. Normal comics are still good. (: This is just something I found different and likeable.

Have you seen Patrick Farley's e-sheep webcomics? It's not current (the website even expired but it's archived here) but he uses some similar techniques, albeit unfrequently.

I haven't seen those! And my web-fu is weak enough that I can't get to any comics from that page. ): Pity though, it sounds like it'd be interesting to see! Carzorthade is infrequent with its use of Flash as animation, too, but it's spiffy when it does.

I do read Carzorthade regularly, in fact. I'll link him off to this post. :-)

Any excuse for a three-day weekend isn't silly, by definition. (:
