I've been thinking. Many of us, if not all of us, mocked George Lucas when he was continually re-releasing the original Star Wars trilogy. New scenes! New graphics! Digitally remastered! Who's "we"? I'm certainly not happy about SquEnix remaking their games so often. (Although I must admit, a fully-3D remake of FFVI would be pretty sweet...) However, their "original" games have gone downhill too. FFVII was pretty good, but not as good as FFVI. FFVIII was rather hit-or-miss. FFIX was ... well, okay, FFIX was cool, if only because of all the nostalgia ... and FFX is kinda love-it-or-hate-it. (I prefer a little of both...)

And let's not even get started on the ones after FFX...
