The bad news is Nick's bag didn't meet at us at the airport last night. The good news is we just found out it should be here tomorrow. It's something you kinda worry about while standing at the carousel watching all the bags go by but it seems they eventually show up. The Last 4 Months
Last March at the Ken Davis concert, we finally sponsored a child. We are now writing sweet lil Lidia from Bolivia. She's 13 which will be fun and maybe a good way to practice our Spanish ( Read more... ) -
Holiday season
We've gotten a little more into Christmas decorations this year. Nick opted for a real tree over the little fiber-optic tree from college we used last year. I've never had a real tree so it's a fun change. We got lights and decorations on sale last year after Christmas so our house is definitely more festive. Now that we've been in our house a year we've gotten to enjoy the beautiful flowers that grow in the front June and July. Last year we moved in July 30 and missed all the color. They seemed to disappear a week or so before.

Maria's visit - June 16-23
Maria got here Tuesday evening. We spent the next day getting ready for our camping trip and Nick took us shooting on Mica Peak. I'd never been shooting or to Mica Peak so it sounded fun. They call me Dr Worm. . .
We found a little clay worm the other day in a nursery so we got it for my mom for Mothers' Day. It's supposed to change colors when the plant needs to be watered...if nothing else, it's a cute decoration...and this was also an opportune moment to teach Nick the Dr. Worm song. Wow, another month gone by...
Another month,..another concert..well, the concert was fun, but it was an especially nice trip goin down to Pullman to visit the family. We stayed with my aunt and uncle who live out in the country next to the grain elevator. Saturday we went with the other aunt to a science museum on campus with rooms full of stuffed animals.
