36th Draw = Errand running! [Open Action]

[Backdated to early this morning.Selphie's running some errands today. First things first though, she's getting in some training at the barracks. Instead of running through her nunchaku drills, she's decided to go through some basic hand-to-hand skills that they teach all first year cadets at Garden. She's rusty as she goes through the moves on

[Sunday morning? Well, Frey has been spending his weekend mornings training these days, so he'll probably be walking in just as she starts those drills with her weapon. He's surprised to see someone else in today, let alone a familiar face.]

Hey.

[boomchucka]

[She makes a spinning motion and lobs the spiked end of her morning star nunchaku lodge itself into the torso of her dummy victim with a great deal of force before looking over her shoulder to see a familiar face as well. She beams at Frey before giving her weapon a hard yank and letting the ball fall to the ground. She wipes the sweat from her brow with the bottom of her t-shirt.]

[Frey grins, impressed.] Nice swing. Practicing?

[boomchucka]

Mhmm! Gotta keep my skills sharp!

[When Selphie gets back to the house, she'll find one princeling perched on the roof well into a good brood. His head's resting in his hands and he's not really paying much attention to anything going on around him. His talk with the twins weighs heavily on him and he needed somewhere quiet to think it out. Like a high spot with potential for falling was the most brilliant choice of location.]

[Oh Ceodore, forgive your girlfriend as she finds a handful of small stones and will promptly start pitching them at you until you a) fall of the room (and then she'll feel bad) or b) snap out of your brooding.]

[Well that works. One of the stones whaps Ceodore in the cheek and his head snaps up and in the direction of the incoming projectiles.]

Selphie?

[He stands up so he can come down, loses his balance, and falls right off the roof, landing in the bushes.]

Ow...

[boomchucka]

Hiya-- Ceodore!

[Well it snapped him out of his angsting but the falling off the roof wasn't quite what she'd intended. She races over to Ceodore and kneels down beside him with a horrified look on her face.]

Are you hurt?! I'm so, so sorry...

[Rydia's up early and whenever Selphie's done with the bathtub, she can catch the scent of freshly-baked muffins. The summoner didn't make them, but she went for an early morning walk and had to stop by the bakery as soon as it opened. She's humming to herself in the kitchen, relaxing at the table as she makes sure to leave out enough for everyone.]

[Cue a young woman following her nose. She peeks her head around the corner and makes a beeline for the muffins. Selphie puts on her best cute face and looks at Rydia curiously.]

Muffin?

[Rydia perks up and smiles, just unwrapping one.]

Help yourself! I got a variety box from the bakery.

[She gestures to the open box, then gets up to pour herself some juice.]

Want any?

[Selphie cheers excitedly before padding over to the table and helping herself to a blueberry muffin.]

[Terra is always up early, so her morning trip to the barracks is no surprise. She arrives there with her sword at her hip, intending to unbuckle the sheath and do some stretching first. As she does so, the girl catches sight of Selphie and watches her at work. It's always interesting to see others' fighting styles.]

[Selphie decides to take a break as she shakes her dripping bangs out of her face. She holds both ends of her morning star in one hand before wandering over for a drink of water. It's on her way back toward the training dummies that Selphie spots Terra and grins at the green-haired girl.]

[As Selphie goes for some water, Terra places her sword on the bench, then turns and smiles as the girl makes her way back.]

Good morning! I hope you don't mind that I was watching you? Most people here just use swords and the like. It's nice to see some variety around here.

[Selphie shakes her head.]

I'm fine with you watching. I've noticed that myself. It makes me wanna learn how to use one myself but I'm so used to my nunchaku that it'd be kinda awkward...
