I have this problem. I'm not sure if it's with a cliche, an idiom, an expression or what. But I always say (when something bad happens and more bad things are clearly going to continue to happen), "Well, it's all downhill from here." I know this is incorrect and it refers to things actually getting easier from here on out, but I still think it's
