I agree that we should focus on the positve instead of the negative, to a degree. We have a responsibility to let people know the consequences of failing to accept Christ, but we do need to share more of the good. We started going to a new church last year, and it has been a great place for us. One of the basic points of our Christmas sermon was that Jesus lived for the Lost and that we should do the same. It was nice becasue most Christmas sermons I've heard are either about the basic Christmas story or "You're going to Hell if you're not SAVED!" I feel uplifted by our new church instead of weighed down by all the tithing and Hell speeches of our former church (mostly tithing).
