Resignation of a good guy

I always try to help. That's all I've ever want to do. It is my calling to be the good guy and help others. Always was I able to see the misfortune of others and feel compassion enough to give them aid. That was until I ran into my own misfortune. I'm struggling to still be the good guy but I'm losing. If you think i'm talking about you in this post quit being so self-centered. This wasn't directed towards anyone. It was just something i felt like reading so i decided to type it up. Stop...no this is not about you. This doesn't have to do with anyone and i wasn't thinking of anyone when i typed it up.

in today's jaded world, there are no more heroes. the true hero is the cynic who embraces the death of ideals. that is the reality of the "postmodern" world.

The real bad guy is the one who does nothing. People just give up in this "postmodern" world and allow the bad things to happen. You should be familiar with that. The last of the heroes are the people who see all this wrong and do something about it.
