Oh, fandom.

I remember being so stoked when I first got into DBSK, because the fandom was so friendly and there didn't seem to be a lot of wank. Okay, so call me naive, but the place really did seem awesome when I was first introduced ( Read more... )

Reading this I don't know what to say...honestly, I'm speechless. I have been reading a lot articles, opinions and everything on this and they always leave me panting and speechless...and this is not the same but I must say, among all, this is one of the most unbiased I have read....but, as a DBSK avid there's only one thing I can say and I know that you know what it is...

...Always Keep the Faith...

...for me, now, this is hypocritical but I'm still holding one to this and will never let go...

Oh my gosh, thank you SO much for writing this out. Like you, DBSK is the one and only reason why I'm into the Kpop fandom at all. Sure, I like some songs by Suju and Big Bang, but I don't like those fandoms nearly enough to refresh my flist every hour everyday since the day I started liking them for their news, read their fics and accounts religiously, and cry during fandom heartquakes. T___T ( ... )

i loved dbsk from the bottom of my heart--still do, really. reading this brought back a sickening reality that i've been trying not to face: the fact that the boys have moved on. reading your thoughts made me nervous. thinking of the split makes me nervous. i really love the boys, and agree that they lack something when splintered.

for a long time, i avoided news about dbsk altogether, especially when the lawsuit had just started, so i only know about homin's fathers and the matsuura issue very vaguely. you're right, it's a big "he-said she-said" situation. all sides involved have a different take on things and a different way of reacting and explaining. there's really no impartial side. the only way anybody can take a decent view on this is by listening to everyone and forming their own view, which just adds another facet to the problem. it is like a mystery novel. nobody really know what's going on ( ... )

As much as I absolutely adore TVXQ and it would absolutely tear me apart if they disbanded, to be honest, I think that even if they do get back together, it just wont be the same. All of this stuff that has happened has effected all of them, even if they don't show it constantly.
I hate seeing them all so... alone. Every picture of them (before all this started) is so full of happiness and fun and now they're so serious and business-like.
I would like to think that their friendship is stronger than anything anyone can throw at them. I'm just keeping faith.
