So, a kind of wrap-up. The second week of school is over. Amazingly, I seem to be getting into the swing of the semester. I've turned in two homeworks in Astronomy, three in Statics (two were returned for 10 out of 10), did my reading for my philosophy class

I'm very tempted to respond with "well, then life sucks" but I won't. I think I'm just in a funk. Had some fun this weekend, which is really helping to pull me out of it. Still a vague throbbing. Oh well.

Thanks, I haven't set a date to meet with him yet (his name's Chase) but we did text each other all weekend.

Oh, I know that life does indeed suck sometimes, but I made a pledge to myself a while ago that I would never just let myself say "life sucks" because then I'm inclined to just let it keep sucking and wallow, instead of getting off my ass and doing something about it.

Things have been going a lot better. I didn't realize I had gotten into such a funk. When I told my counselor what I went through she was like, "Well, then you're really good at hiding it because I couldn't tell. What else aren't you telling me?" which included a "O_o" from her.

Oh well. Things are moving along. Still texting with Chase because I keep chickening out. I'm almost there, though.
