Seeing that my life is completely up in the air right now, what with graduation (and the rest of my life) looming on the horizon, I think perhaps I could benefit from a regular organization and purging of thoughts -- namely, livejournal-ing. I totally agree with carrying a bowie knife as a quick answer for those who ask about post-grad plans. What really irks me is that asking about graduation almost always has another meaning, like "is what you're going to do better than what I'm going to do," or "aren't you so freaking scared?" Wouldn't the world be that much better if everyone minded his own business?

And I think it's even worse when you study drama in college. There's all this added pressure of "proving yourself," which really is bullshit, because, at least in the ideal, the only person you have to please is yourself, right? If you're happy and satisfied with yourself, that's all that should matter, right? But it's never that simple.
