1. What stages must this bill go through before it can be passed into law?

b. I would support such a measure as long as it: 1) was narrowly crafted as to what medical conditions qualified, 2) contained safe guards to ensure that the patient was of sound mind at the time of the decision, 3) a process was in place to clearly demonstrate the patient’s intent to take their own life, and 4) contained a counseling requirement to ensure that this was truly the will of the person.
