Gone for a few days to my daughter's new house.   Helped a little with the unpacking.  They love their new home.  Also got to visit with my little pregnant grandaughter, who is doing well and due June 11.  She has so much from a shower that this little girl will need nothing for the first few months.  I took her a cradle that my granson used, he is ( Read more... )

Now, my daughter called and her son is on the way to the Dr. to check out a lump on his spine.  The xray shows nothing but he will have a bone scan next week.  He is such a neat guy, 17, trains all the time for football and track.  Seems he has had this since last Dec. when they were having a weight training competition.  It has become very painful ( Read more... )

An email from my daughter about Cody, she says miracle of miracles it looks like he will be alright.  Some facial fractures and a large cut on the back of his head.  They had kept him sedated, did a CT scan that looked ok so woke him up and he answered all the question right and promptly went back to sleep.  Thank the Lord for caring for this child ( Read more... )

 Pray for this child named Cody.  My daughter sent an email that this student was hit by a log truck on the way to school this am.  
He has a head injury so please remember him.  I hurt every time I hear of a child being injured in a car accident.   The result of
my neice being killed when she was 17,.

We have a pipe line right in front of our home.  They are replacing some of the pipe.  It's a 36inch pipe which normally has gas in it.  This has been interesing to watch.  Digging it up, there is a pile of dirt about four times higher than me, I am 5ft.5in.  Yesterday they start putting bales of hay down from the big hole, so I am getting worried ( Read more... )

Had the greatest time yesterday watching the Arizona Ironman on live video.  The first time I had a computer so I could.  How exciting it was to pull for James Bonney and so hoped he would win.  So close.  Also to keep up with Cam's friends who were out there too.
