Facets of Madness Part One Section Two!

Trying to catch his breath before entering Marmoreal, the Hatter wondered how Alice could stand running away so often. He’d just run the entire distance to the White Queen’s castle, and it was not an experience he wished to repeat any time soon. Wiping the sweat from his brow, he took a deep breath and entered through the enormous archway that led ( Read more... )

I love the visual of this scene - the candles and petals and table and perfectly un-dented, un-chipped tea service. I admit, I am a bit worried by this "plan" of the Hatter's... Alice might still relapse as she hasn't really bid goodbye to Henry and faced the trauma that led her to create him in the first place... but that's why there's a Part Two, yes? And I trust you, you marvelous writer, you! (^__~)

It's had to imagine that I only fell madly in love with Alice In Wonderland (2010) on Monday. Yesterday, I started your story last night around 7pm, realized around 1 am that I wouldn't be able to student-teach in the morning without some hours of sleep, so I continued reading your story after life happened. I kind of wish I could send you flowers. This was exactly what I was looking for, it was the underlying connection, I felt in the movie. The twist of who was actually mad was fantastic. It's sad to say but sometimes I feel like I'm in a fantasy world. I feel complete admiration for this story. I look forward to any stories with this pairing in the future, if you write any more. You are a stupendous writer, please continue your fantastic work!!

Sincerely,
S.J. More

Oh, it's unbelievable how quickly something can reel you in, hey? I fell in love with it the second I saw the movie, and a week later, here I was with a plot for a story being organised. Scary! haha. It's not sad to be in a fantasy world, not at all. I live for it. Real life is pretty crap compared to the things we can imagine for ourselves, so when we're done working our butts off and cooking and cleaning then we totally deserve to slip away somewhere magical :)Thanks SO much for this review, it really made my week! And I completely intend to finish this fic but something TERRIBLE happened, my laptop completely DIED! So it's going to take me a week just to find out if I've lost everything on it (fingers toes and eyes crossed that I haven't) because I haven't updated my back up hard drive in a while so anything new I've added to the story since then will be lost forever. *shivers* So your kind words really just gave me the smile I needed. Thankyou!!
Tonia :)
