Also, the amount they were originally hoping for in the funding campaign was likely the bare minimum needed to hire a studio to record in. If he doesn't want to rush his creative work, which I doubt he does, yes, more money would be truly helpful. There are a lot of expenses that go into making an album. This guy is getting money from no one but us, basically.
