I think River is Amy and Rory's daughter, that being conceived in the TARDIS did, in fact, make her a pseudo Time Lord, but not enough of one to trigger any of the Doctor's suspicions.

And yes, someone really should intercut River Tam's fight scene with River Song's, explodey Internet or not.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking River is Amy and Rory's daughter. Though she might not have needed to be conceived in the TARDIS, Amy was in the Pandorica and it was set for the Doctor's (or a Time Lord's) DNA so that could have changed her.

Though I'm also thinking the Little Girl is Amy's daughter. Though connecting in my head that the Little Girl could also be River makes it toss up a lot of errors.

My first thought was that that's how the doctor was getting around the "no, he's really all the way dead" thing. In the middle of his regeneration cycle, he regenerated into Amy's womb, so Amy's pregnant with the doctor.

O_O

oh wow, that's a brilliant idea. And would be so awkward. I would love that!

I really didn't care for River until this episode. They really sold me on the ship this time. The flirting amidst the fight scene was excellent.

And how come Amy didn't go kill the Silence (The Silent?) she saw at the start, or any of the 2011 crew, at any time when they saw one of them? If they've been programmed since 1969 to do that, since we keep getting told that they can't change history...

Or was that a flux point that the Doctor could manipulate, and until he did, they weren't programmed to kill until they were with the Doctor and did it, making an uncertain future...so what becomes of mankind without the Silence now?

...I have no idea if that made any sense. ;)
