The big DC changes

Most people already know this but DC comics, home of such classic superheroes as Batman, Superman and Wonder Wonder, is relaunching all its titles in September all with new issues 1's and with brand new creative teams.

This post is basically my attempt to keep track of all 52 new books as the info slowly leaks out.

( Probably only of interest to comics fans )

A lot of people are really outraged about this, says it invalidates their current collection if everything starts from zero again.

Having already gone through this once back in 1986, I'm not too upset by that. What's really annoying me is putting Oracle back in the Batgirl outfit.

I'm more of a Marvel guy anyyhow, but yeah some people are feeling cheated about stuff like the War Of Light and Batman's death being retconned.

The 'Dark' side of DC. I'm... a little underwhelmed by this selection (not to mention once again skeeved by the clothing disparity in the Vampire art), but we shall see.

At the moment I'm still stuck on a refrain of 'NIGHTWING IS BACK! EEEEEEEEE!' with a chorus of 'PLEASE DON'T KILL THE SECRET SIX! PLEASE DON'T KILL THE SECRET SIX!'

My needs are simple. :P
