A Second Post in Less than a Month? Wow!

I'm on a roll!  LOL.
Well, my mouse froze on me forcing me to reboot the computer and consequently re-do the three paragraphs I'd written so far.  To further add to my frustration, Live Journal would not let me recapture them through the auto-save feature.  Oddly enough, though, the warm boot seemed to cure the problem I was having with Live Editor

Kel, I've been gone from here for several years, and I don't see your posts on evil FB. I'm back to LJ because I missed the true community and close friendships here that Facebook, in my opinion, strip mines. So, I need to catch up. Was Mom's breast cancer back?What was the nature of her surgery, and how far post-op is she? How did Dad break his ankle, and what grade is Eddie in now? I'm so proud of his accomplishments! Is his HS a big or small one?

I've seen more ducks & geese on the pond behind our house, but so far in March we've had snow showers & gray cloudy cold days. hopefully more sunny days coming. I did see a hint of green shoots in one of my container gardens, chives are trying to come up
