I hope I can remember each tidbit that I'd planned to put on here.  Since I've gotten so busy, it's hard to remember it all.

First of all I'd like to say happy birthday to our dear pondhopper and auntconi, as well as nancytoday.  I sent greetings at FaceBook, but I'd like to give you a shout out here, too!  Happy birthday, Gals!!  :) <3

I'm just glad your dear mom isn't dealing with bone cancer...still, it will be good when they can define what's wrong. Gout is nasty but easily treated and yes, it can affect many parts of the body. I hope it's something as easy as that.

I'm sorry that Ed has to bear such chronic pain. I don't understand why they won't replace teh hips of somebody younger if it's obviously necessary. To be condemned to live with that kind of pain is just inhuman.

Has Eddie decided what he'd like to do? I know we talked about the community college. Is that still on the agenda? It sounds like Dave is full steam ahead already!

It wasn't gout after all. When surgeons replaced her shoulder, they dislocated her collarbone. Right now, the doctor wants her to be careful and try to strengthen those muscles to help keep it in place. I think the surgeon should pay for the costs of finding this out.

glad your mom doesn't have bone cancer. if it is gout, tell her to eat a lot of cherries. there's something in cherries that helps with gout

Glad to say no gout. It is dislocated...happened when they replaced her shoulder! I think the surgeon should pay for all the costs related to this since he did this to her.
