Snow Day and Sherlock

Today we had another day off from school due to the continued extreme cold and the state of our roads.  Many roads in the outlying areas were totally impassable.  Hardly surprising given the amount of snow we we received, the wind causing it to drift, and the fact that salt doesn't work in temperatures below 20 degrees.  While the boys and I could' ( Read more... )

I have never watched Sherlock...I can get it here but just haven't. I may well start after your description.

Buddy looks so laid back in the picture. I'm glad you could finally manage to have a dog. They're so much a part of our hearts, the little stinkers.:)

Yes, they are, and Buddy has completely stolen my heart. He's had it since I first laid eyes on him nearly three years ago! We're practically attached at the hip. He isn't going to like being alone tomorrow when I go back to work.

I think you will like Sherlock. It's very well done. I hate dramas that are full of trifling ribble-rabble, but this one is far from that!

I hate to lose my freedom, but at the same time, I'm feeling a bit stir-crazy. I need the time with "my kids" to fill my days and keep me going. And we'll have only one and a half days this week, so that's not a bad way to swing back into things.
