It might be more of an English thing. I confess, I like loose leaf tea a whole lot more than the bagged stuff, but I think it's the kind of bagged stuff, too. Barnes & Noble gives you tea in a pyramid-shaped bag that looks to be made of a very thin nylon or plastic, and it tastes almost as good as loose leaf. Tea in paper teabags always tastes off to me. It's a matter of perception, I guess.
Love your tea set. :) And we eat after 9 PM here so I guess our figures are in trouble. ;) The refugee problem is very complicated and we here in Europe are seeing it at very close hand. Germany can't absorb any more. Those who have arrived there are sleeping in the train stations just to have a roof. It should be interesting when I visit Munich in late November. They can take thousands, yes, but not millions...and the rest of Europe has its own economic issues. Spain will accept at least 40,000 this year even with our 22% unemployment. I agree it is a human rights issue but a very difficult one for countries barely emerging from a bad recession. The Eastern European countries are not cooperating and don't want to. I don't know what the answer is to that if they won't even allow the flow of refugees through their countries. There will be another EU summit about this issue in a few weeks and I only hope an agreement can be reached.
I know it's hard over in Europe, but I just think it's unconscionable for some countries to not help at all. The US used to be one of the richest countries in the world, and I think we still rank near the top. Even though we have millions struggling in this country (us included) we should still try to do what we can. If we can let all these illegals from Mexico stream in and get benefits, it doesn't make sense to me to turn away people who are even more desperate.
So do I! It would be nice to sit down once a week and chat. And I'd like to get to know Beth better. James, too, of course. I didn't want to be rude! LOL. Oh, I stepped in it, but you know what I mean.

I bought that tea set a few years ago as a treat to myself since I like to make "proper" English tea. I love it.
