Like everything else, N.E.W.T.s have gone from being tiring to being merely tiresome.. I don't understand why I need to demonstrate my self worth via practical examination instead of being judged on my appearance. That is how it is in the real world anyway. I would know. The experience would be tainted by my knowing. I need to drown for real, but have someone there to revive me so I can write a poem that describes the plunging torment in my chest cavity.

But who will revive me? Maybe the portrait of the sea nymph in the 2nd floor bath is up to it. She squeals and nearly rips free of the canvas each time I happen in there.
