I've now seen episode 3.2 as well, so my answers including everything up to that.

Favorite character: probably Mitchell, but I love them all, there are times then I love George the most, Nina can be great and Annie is adorable.
Least Favorite character: Ivan and Daisy - they bored me so much I barely remember their scenes, season 2 had some boring stretches
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): George/Nina, Annie/Gilbert (how can you not love a ghost who's into the Smiths?), Annie/Mitchell (it didn't occur to me to think of them in that way before season 3 but now that the show is setting it up, I like the idea), Mitchell/Lucy, Mitchell/Josy
Character I find most attractive: Mitchell *drool*
Character I would marry: None of them, George is not my type, and Mitchell is waaay too messed up to marry anyone
Character I would be best friends with: George or Annie
a random thought: It's brilliant that Herrick looks so average, like he's really an ordinary cop. Vampire villains are usually either monstrous or all Gothic and suave

Can I count Buffy S8+9 as a fandom unto itself? Or you can do it all!

Can I do Buffy fandom in general? I don't know how to split it from the show opinions... and imagine trying to come up with 5 ships you like just in the comics (how many ships are there in the comics?) or decide who's the most attractive character when drawn by Jeanty! :D

Favorite character: Buffy or Spike (don’t make me choose)
Least Favorite character: for the show, Ben or Adam or the Anointed One. For the comics, TwAngel.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Buffy/Spike, Xander/Anya, Willow/Oz, Giles/Jenny, Willow/Tara. As a bonus: Buffy/Angel in the high school seasons (great story) and Xander/Cordelia.
Character I find most attractive: Spike in every shape and form (even though Jeanty doesn’t do him justice)
Character I would marry: Souled!Spike
Character I would be best friends with: Buffy, we would argue from time to time. If she tried to order me around in season 7, I’d have none of that. Maybe I’d get along better with Willow.

I’m much happier with season 8 as a continuation of BtVS than I was with season 5 of AtS as the last canon word on Buffy.

Me too! I love the way Emmie talks about this. I actually like AtS S5 just fine on its own, but S8 was necessary I feel. Whatever happens with S9/10, I think S8 tied up a lot of really big questions.

Favorite character: in the sense of those I personally just like, Echo and Claire; in the sense of best written characters, Topher and Adelle
Least Favorite character: in the sense of a character that doesn't quite work for me - Bennett (*hides from Summer Glau fans*) It's like they just wanted to have a Summer Glau character on the show. In the sense of character that just gets on my nerves, Perrin's wife (I hate her so much I couldn't remember her name LOL) but of course she was meant to.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Victor/Sierra (Tony/Priya - in their case it's the same), Paul/Mellie, Adelle/Dominic... Echo/Paul in season 2 (when I became OK with it... not a real fan or anything, though I could have been if so much of it hadn't happened off screen)... maybe Topher/Ivy. The show wanted me to like Topher/Bennett, and it did have its moments, but happened way too fast. I don't think this show is great for ships.
