I've had a bit of a revelation. I always thought I didn't have a favourite television programme, not since News Radio in the mid 90's at least. Woah, I just realised that was a media-related show. I've a current round of obsessions, mainly music-related:

1. The new wilco album (pre-release version) Sky Blue Sky. It is just... incredible. Jeff Tweedy is insurmountable! I'm massively into 'Impossible Germany', a spectacularly nuanced war protest song. It feels weird not doing regular updates on my blog when there's quite a bit going on, but such is the nature of not having a computer outside of work hours.

It's liberating, but also very annoying - no internet banking, checking emails, reading other people's blogs. Maybe it's good for me...

Somehow I forgot to mention i've bought a car. This has caused much joy mixed with grief as i've done the sums, applied for a loan and insurance ewwwwwwwwwwww. The insurance thing is so bad! My excess, alone, is over $1000!
