Hi there! I'm going to be one of your editors this round. My style consists of reading your piece through a few times and commenting on anything that may stick out to me. I'm not grammar/structure guru so that probably won't be my focus. Instead, I'll just comment and offer suggestions. Everything I offer is merely a suggestion: take it as lightly or as importantly as you'd like.

1. I am brass bands and billowing flags. Nice!

2. You keep a very nice structure here. I like how you keep your sort of pattern of I am a lament and then go into your lists and continue this convention throughout. It allows a nice rhythm for your reader. Good work.

Overall, I think this is a nice exploration of your world by using carefully chosen words and images. Good luck in the polls and thanks for sharing!
