*No, I have no excuses. None. And I don't want you to keep making them up for me. I went into this with my eyes open. I did it because I thought it would be interesting. I did it because I wanted to see if I could. I did it because it was an option.* Gosh, this kind of confession has to be the worst nightmare that a shrink may have.

That was a beautiful and totally enlightening way to settle the account with the usual conventions of "evil", and a shocking entry to start with. You're as merciless with your dissecting of arguments as your protagonist, and I absolutely loved it.
