Feet of Clay by Terry Pratchett, Men at Arms by same, and Good Omens by same and Neil Gaiman. I'm on a bit of an amusing fantasy kick now, to tell the truth. And, also, a few things my mother just happened to find and thought I would enjoy.
You can borrow my copy of Good Omens if you'd like. Afraid I can't help you with the others as I'm not a huge fan of the Discworld series myself. Not after everything that's happened around here, that is. Reading about magic isn't much fun anymore, I've found.
Thank you very much. You are an absolute lifesaver. If I had been forced to read my textbooks at 3 am one more time I think you would have found me the next day standing atop the Astronomy tower shouting "I am a fish."
And as for Discworld...well, yes, I believe I can see what you're saying. But I always read them more for the way they reflected the "normal" world in a strange way than anything else. I don't know.
Any time. Especially since I very much suspect that that puppy is far happier with you than he could ever be with me, for simple reasons of personality clash.
