I can't believe you think it's 'amazing'. It's not the word I'd choose to use. It's horrible. She did seem the sort to actually steal Death's shinbones so he couldn't chase her.

And yet they took her down, like you said. Perhaps it's amazing, but it's more terrifying than anything.

I'm amazed that she was actually mortal. Hence, it's amazing.

I'm not saying that it might not be any one of a million other things, but if I'm amazed that it was a possibility, I'm obviously amazed.

They took her down, I mean. She lost, I mean.

I don't know. This makes sense to me.

You mean you can't be amazed that it was possible and scared at the same time?

'Amazing' doesn't have to be a good word. A tsunami is amazing, for instance.
