Aww! What a charming picture! That's so sweet of them to return his dog. Is it known what kind of dog it was? He (the dog) looks very happy. And I love Howe's braid and his foot.

Nope, nobody knows what kind of dog it was. One source says a hound of some sort, another says a fox terrier...so I made it a foxhound. xD Thank you!!
