giving up the punctuation

So the gist is this: Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen books that will always stick with you. First 15 you can recall in no more than 15 minutes.

1. The Lord of the Rings     the number of times I've read this is shameful

Woah a post! My LJ friends' page has been a tumbleweed fest for months now.
I find it kinda neat that despite the fact that you've read hundreds if not thousands more books than I've ever read or will read I know a solid handful of these books. I guess I'm not missing much! I like your little write-ups of the books, they pack an informative and personalized punch.
I would never feel certain enough in my choices to be able to make a list of my own but I'd definitely include Lolita and Up In The Old Hotel on my theoretical.

I know! I know! Maybe your lonesome fortitude is part of why I eventually did post again. Let's hope it's not the last.

You can make a list. It's only supposed to be books that you're sure will stick in your head. I fudged it a little.
