Well you're not missing out on any rad CHLY meetings lately because they're haven't been any! Sad, really. I like that sort of thing too. I think "clubhouse atmosphere" is a good way to describe CHLY, but things haven changed in the past year, I'd say. A bit more negative. And I could speculate about a lot of reasons for that...

Roads are iced pretty bad here too lately. Went to a birthday party in the Stewart Ave area the other day, but in the steep hilly neighbourhood above Stewart, and the hills were just sheets of ice. Yet I still haven't seen anyone fall!
You know what drives me nuts? When people's first reactions to those sorts of scenarious is to laugh. It just makes things so much worse! Maybe that's why America's Funniest Home Videos was never my thing.

Also, I've been around my share of random strangers passing out, but three in one day (outside the context of drunken revelry, that is) is pretty impressive. Pretty soon you'll have to wear a Superman cape under your jacket anytime you leave the house.

I know what you mean, there are a lot of nice 1.2 lenses and external flashes I'd much sooner need before I get any funky lenses.
