Elvis was apparently knocked off the top of the forbes top earning dead artists. Kurt Cobain out ranked him hitting something like 40 million. It's interesting that Kurt's death still continues to elicit responses from people who claim to have hated him when he was alive. Chalk it up to a level of fame which people simply cannot have an opinion
