I've got a cavity. Two cavities. I'm not looking forward to a trip to the dentist. The last time I went, I got this crazy German who kept asking me... "is it safe? is it safe?" And he drilled a little too deep.
I feel your pain! My tooth cracked in half in August. The cracked off bit hasn't fallen out, it's all still connected up in the root/gum part. It's bad, very bad. Sometimes I wish it would just fall out, so I could learn to deal with whatever horrid situation is left in my mouth at that point. Other times, I think I should seriously have a dentist look at it. But mostly, I wish I was a millionaire, so I could get a dentist's opinion and actually have the cash to get it fixed! I hate teeth!! :(
