Hey! This is AMAZING. As if I didn't already adore you to pieces.... ;)
Could I make a suggestion (for which you are free to bitchslap me)? Since this post is already so long, a separate post for entries would be really helpful. Much easier to read without scrolling down. It's already magnificent as-is, though! *hugs*
Heeee. You are quite correct--it is annoying. But I am in the process of fixing that right now. *cracks knuckles* Soon no scrolling will be necessary. :D
Smallville/het!Clark reacting to being kissed by Lex (1/2)prim_rose_ettaSeptember 17 2007, 03:01:03 UTC
Character Study Challenge: Smallville; het Clark reacting to a kiss by Lex.
Tortion
Why do I have to be so damned polite? Clark moaned to himself as he lay upon his loft's couch in wretchedness. Why did I have to put the ball back in his court like that?
Fully reclined, his head upon the padded armrest, he brought the crook of his brawny golden arm to rest over his face, pressing down, hiding behind it, shutting out the world behind the darkness he sought. It only brought the mosaic of his dejection into clearer contrast.
He could see it again, that moment he had left himself open to the curse Lex had left him with:
~~~"Are we done?" Clark had asked, after having offered the best apology he could muster for his and Lois' Red-K disruption of Lex and Lana's engagement party.~~~He'd stood in his own barn, on his own property, and still, Lex had owned him, bettered him, mastered him one more time
(cont'd)
"I'm going to kill him," Clark vowed to himself, assuaging self-loathing - knowing it was a lie. "I'm going to," he repeated, anyway.
~~~Then: that eel of a tongue swam within, tip riding up/down, up/down, seeking and finding Clark's as its partner in its dance as it invaded more fully, causing Clark's mouth to open wide. He joined in, causing himself to moan - before Clark came awake from the sound of himself, of a sudden, and instantly pushed Lex away, bodily, with one sharp thrust of his arms, until the assaulter hit with a dull crack of skull against wood on the barn's beam some ten feet behind him, dust motes kicked-up into the yellow beams of sunlight that fell in shafts around him as he gathered himself into his black longcoat with a nasty grin.~~~This was the worst of it, by far - that Clark had been party to it for those sweet, smooth seconds, and those were the instants he couldn't shake

Thank you! :D That's great to hear. Lurkers ROCK! ;)
Good luck with the inspiration. I know I'm making a shortlist of things I'd like to write. And while you're here, i have a question on your Lois prompt! *cheating* Were you thinking of it in terms of her preconceptions and first impressions about others, or theirs about her? *headtilt*
I've actually been incredibly tempted to try and answer one of my own prompts in vid form, by making a Millennium vid to the E Nominae song that m_a_r_i_k_s used in her awesome Cylon vid a few months ago. I've even hassled Bill to return my Millennium S1 DVDs so I could do some ripping :P Although I need to get Nero working first - I need to clear off HD space urgently, and it keeps locking up when I try to use it.
As for the Lois prompt - I actually kept it vague because I thought it'd be interesting to see if people wrote about her preconceptions and impressions of others, or theirs of her... *is evil*
Is LJ working ok for you this morning? It's horrendously slow where I am - to the point that every 60 or so characters, I have to stop typing and let it catch up with me.
Roswell, Michael, hatred of the color 'green'all_you_wantedSeptember 17 2007, 16:33:49 UTC
Hope I did this right. -------------
Michael Guerin hates the color green.
'Green' is the color of aliens. Little green men who come in the night and take you from your warm bed to the coldness of their spaceships to test you, probe you, leave you different than you were before they ever crossed your path.
'Green' is the color of grass and life. Around the trailer he grew up in, there was no grass, only dirt. Maybe that was the reason why it felt more like he was dying there, instead of living.
'Green' is the color of envy. It's stupid (in his opinion) how people connect colors with feelings. 'Red' for anger, 'yellow' for cowardice, but when he sees Max and Isabel sitting down for a family dinner with their parents, laughing as they pass the bowls of red new potatoes and yellow squash, he feels as 'green' in his jealousy as the floral centerpiece on the table

All I've got to do now is actually get my head working enough to write anything useful, then I could take a look at getting some responses done here.
