Unofficially, my test score for the NYPD exam was a 92. The reason it's unofficial is because I only compared what my answers were on the exam to what the score sheet documented as the answers on the NYPD website ( Read more... )

You know chris on the corner is a city cop. You ever talk to him about it? Never know, he might be able to give you some pointers or pull.

I actually spoke to him the other day about it. I was helping him out with some yard work stuff. He mentioned that after a few years I should try to take the more advanced tests to go up in rank and make more money. And that he'd have to salute me lol. He also mentioned that I should look into taking the FDNY test also. He said that you only work 2 days a week as an FDNY firefighter. Thats crazy.

It's 24hr shifts. 24hrs on, 3 days off. A lot of FDNY people also have side jobs for those 3 days off... Hey, now we can call you FIREMAN 2!
