I love seafood too, but the scallops I buy at the local Chinese seafood market aren't like the ones I got back home in Virginia. I cooked them, had one and then threw the entire dish out. Just was awful. Maybe someone in the NYC Livejournal community can help you out with some potential stores?

The Chinatown crawfish were small & grey & chewy. Pretty weak.

It's technically not crawfish season any longer (it runs from Jan to May). So I think I'll just sit and wait out the 7 months.
