Also, I love the original piece of art so much, because Millet was romanticizing the labor of the working class & in Banksy's interpretation, his figure is giving a firm "fuck you" to Millet's romanticization.

Even know Millet's work is associated with what they call "Social Realism," he's totally romanticizing.

I had no idea Banksy had done anything like that. I do remember something about a painted elephant whose painted-on pattern matched that of the room she was in. It was something about poverty being "the elephant in the room" (that no one acknowledges).

But basically, Banksy to me is street stencils and sneaking into museums to hang up altered art reproductions.
