Ok, apparently you were in EVERY line when talents were being handed out ;) You sir are one fantastic artist! I'd love to possibly license the Venetian painting for a cover of my edition of a Vivaldi flute/violin concerto I'm working on.
Man, I know nothing about selling anything. I wouldn't even know where to start with this licensing thing. Just credit me & tell your wealthy friends & family members about my website so hopefully I can get a commission out of it.
1. No. I wish you had more paintings. If you had more paintings, I'd say just paintings. 2. The navigation is fine, but the title text for each piece is awfully light. 3. I have no idea. A painting that's 2'x2' would cost $800? I guess that sounds kinda high.
Yeah, maybe $125-$150/sq ft. I mean, to be honest, I'm not sure you have to put an anticipated price on there. I think it's fair enough to list the price of the finished paintings, which will give people an idea of what they can expect.
For commissioned work it can be handy as a personal guide. My wife is an artist and normally names her quote after she discusses what's wanted with the client.
As for already finished I'd just pull a number out of my arse based on the content and quality.

Is it common to name your price by square foot?
