This is not to say the first is not beautiful. She is. The hopelessly flared nostrils are endlessly appealing. :)

I love Julia Nunes' stuff, but man, that nose sure can flare!

Julia's a lovely, lovely girl and ridiculously talented, but... when my wife sees a pretty girl on the TV she sometimes says she's "too aware of the camera." This is that. She appears to be knowledgeable about image and shot composition, so you'd think she'd know the angle she uses makes it feel like she's totally in my face all the time. Coupled with the cleavagey tops she wears sometimes... yeah, some lovely things are lovelier from a decent distance.

The second one is adorable. Absolutely.

The fact that you think that the 2nd is impossible to beat in a beauty contest completely confirms that we find most attractive that which resembles ourselves. You have the same colouring, probably a very similar facial structure, -- the girl could be your sister.

From the research I've seen, there definitely appears to be universals to facial attractiveness.

What's more, though Julia (apparently that's her name) does a superior job, IMO, Mia Rose has gotten 5 times more hits for the same song, to date - though Mia's has been up for 2 1/2 yrs vs. 6 months; so the "playing field" isn't even.

Also, my sister & cousins don't look like her. But I (obviously) see what you me.
