This totally beat around the bush and made little sense out of context. For this reason, it's a good thing we have made a mends (and then some) in person.

We seek vengeance because we're hurt and we want others to feel the pain that we're suffering. But really the best revenge is to show that you're the bigger person and are capable of growing from the situation and moving on. At least that's what I've learned.
