new year
i'm having two weeks off from class and have no studying to do(we're in between periods i.e. finished cellbiology and statistics and starting new courses after the holidays). So i decided to bake!
We have a new oven, finally, and i had never been into baking before but after having a lot of LJfriends baking delicious-looking cakes and cookies...
for christmas i baked some sugar cookies; i'd figured i should start easy.
after this i baked a cranberry orange loaf.. twice, because the crust got burned the first try. i don't have a photo of this but it tasted delicious and it looked pretty and i recommend it!
and today chocolate biscotti!
i loved baking this for some reason! this has tiny chocolate chips and chopped walnuts by the way.
all recipes were from allrecipes.com (ha!)
