Dating in Dots - lolita skirt
you might have seen this but i decided to post it in my own journal too ^^
i'm not wearing it today.
in an attempt at improving my sewing skills i sewed the lining inside/under the top fabric's seam:
trying to do perfect lining.
lining gathered; this wasn't a great idea(thicker fabric is harder to gather). when i looked at a fornarina dress i have with gathering it showed the lining was pleated under it. i should have thought of that.. next time!
and a matching headdress! sort of replica of Angelic Pretty's:
i love Angelic Pretty's headdresses. they're so big it's almost like wearing a hat. but cuter. like wearing a dish on your head with cookies and cakes on it.
Also, how would one go about sewing a lolita necktie? how wide would it have to be?
