Continuing with the story...
The next day we decided to switch things up a little bit and get a hotel and a change of scenery from Doc's back yard.
Lookin out the window at a... junkyard...
Despite the scenery, this place was sooooo nice. It even had a pool and hot tub. We took a quick dip before everyone came over.
Once again, Joe brought over beer and bros and the card playing ensued...
Nate cheats, poor Joe...
But so does Joe, poor Brian...
The highlight of the night was when Steph and I played cards for fun and ended up beating all of them. We're just awesome like that.
Remember Jayme? He came too...
Then he passed out...
And Nate rocked out...
Chrissy, Nate and I went for a walk up to the smoking floor. That carpet up there was mighty comfortable so we rested for a bit. The only people left in the room were Jayme and Steph. Fun with sharpies and the mormon bible...
Enough of that partying nonsense. Went to sleep around 7 or so and finally woke up about 10 minutes before we were supposed to check out. Got our shit together and out of there and decided to go swimming again. Eventually went back to Nate's and hung out in the upstairs bedroom. Now let me take a minute to tell you some things about this bedroom. So apparently when RO were on tour they took a picture of a shirtless Joe on a motorcycle. That picture is framed above the bed. A tad bit frightening yes. But not as scary as what we would soon find... So Nate was telling us how Doc has quite a collection of porn. We hadn't seen any so the whole thing was like an urban legend. Well someone got the idea to open the top drawer of the bedside table and this is what we found...
Then we put in a tape... bad idea. Needless to say we are all scarred for life. "Yeah, take it bitch." Oh and did I mention that it was gay porn? No more on that topic.
Strange that all the lights look like boobs...
Sooooo... we needed a break and went looking for food (is it just me or does that seems to be a common theme here?). Before we struck gold we ended up by the awesome Jewish cemetery we had visited a few nights before...
Look closely. It says "Endowed Weiner."
Finally our hunger got the best of us and we went to one of the best place ever: Fresh Taco. Chinese and Mexican food all in one place!! Awesome to the max. As we were finishing Nate calls and proposes the idea of getting more special goodness and going to a movie. Almost all the bros work at this one theater so we just walked in and sat down. Saw "The Village." It was alright I guess. Not what I was expecting. Adrien Brody was fabulous though. Nate left with the biggest bag of popcorn you've ever seen. Too bad no one got a picture of that. However, on the way home we snapped one of the best signs ever...
The lack of sleep the previous night took it's toll and we went to bed early. We heard there was some kind of "party" after we passed out but those things are just silly and unfortunately we had to leave the next morning. And that is where I'll pick up next time.
On a side note: since when are Ryan and Ty in LAO? How did I miss that one?
