That would be that kind of root I'd rather enjoy drilling, honestly.
I do like the way you think! You gave me a good laugh...and now I'll have something to chuckle about while I'm in the big chair...well that and the nitrous oxide, if I'm lucky...
Sympathies! Just thinking about it is enough to set my teeth on edge! I dislike going to the dentist so much I have to arrive no more than 1 minute before the appointment so I don't have to sit in the waiting room and hear that darned drill!
Likely being an undiagnosed Aspie, I start with a lot of built-in high anxieties. Most of them I've learned to control over decades of personal hard work, but the dentist's chair is still a tough one for me. Granted, it doesn't help that I had a really bad experience as a child too. Today, the dentist didn't examine me for 10 minutes and I had broken out in a sweat.
I'm on an emergency waiting list...and the one advantage of that is I'll only have two hours of notice to fret about what's coming...

I am so not amused.
Thing is...I had absolutely no indication the tooth was a problem...no pain, no nothing...until I chipped it.
