Metrocon was a bust in some aspects....If I only I didn't have the cosplay sickness, it would be so easy to quit the con scene. Maybe I'll try a sci fi convention. Female Han Solo? Yay? Nay

Female Han Solo could be interesting. I saw your HerroKitty post in the long thread in the forums on how it seems like a lot of people had a generally less than stellar time. And any body who volunteered or was in a show making a point to defend the con, pretty much supporting your theory of them generally having a better time than us. I'm tempted to email the director of operations, he stuck up a blurb on the main Metrocon page but I don't really know what to tell him that he hasn't all ready heard and probably won't listen to anyway.
Glad nothing bad cam of the quake, I called and left a message, but I figured you were busy and not dead. Glad to hear it was the former. You've been hit on by creepy stoners, made it to a west coast con, been to the filth of Hollywood, drove in hellish LA traffic, and experienced an earthquake. I think you got the full LA experience now.
Yes, I think I've done it all. Even got in my celebrity sightings at comic con- saw the guy who plays hell boy! And the guy from Eureka. He was so skinny and little...like a chemo patient.
Lol, good job : p Apparently people in California care more about their employees than in Tokyo, haha - we've totally had a couple earthquakes at my office but we've never evacuated. Speaking of offices, I'm also in the same boat - I'm not in a cubicle but it's only because the office is on an open plan layout ;.; Which is worse in some ways, because I'm always having to quickly switch browser tabs to pretend like I'm doing work whenever my boss walks by. It's kind of awesome now, though - we just merged with a game development company, and now we're all supposed to be working on churning out game concepts, so we've got a bunch of games systems in the office that we play for "research." And when I look up game reviews or whatever, it's like, "what, I'm doing research. Gotta find out what sells." It's ironic though, right after I lost most of my patience for video games I managed to accidentally end up in the video game industry. (Did I tell you that we're the ones who localized the Naruto game for DS? I didn't personally work
