Oh my. I saw Caroliner in San Diego 2 years ago and it was one of the best performances I've seen in years. If you look at my user pictures/icons you can see a photo I took of the singer. :)

cool, i'm still kicking myself for not seeing them when they were on their european tour... i really meant to go to gothenburg but after all it didn't work out... too bad they didn't come to finland.

Yes. You should check out the double lp, Rings on the Awkward Shadow. The whole recording was dumped onto wire spool so it sounds like music bleeding in through a hole.

yeah, they're on vinyl (with the exception of their 3rd lp Rise of the Common Woodpile which is reissued on cd) but i do have cdr-versions of most of them... unfortunately the only way for me to send them is by snailmail... but if you want to trade then write to me at boredom99 (a) gmail.com and maybe we can get it sorted...

Hey,

I was thinking of posting a couple Caroliner records on Psych_Folk ,
& wanted to know if you wouldn't mind me copying this entry for everyone to read.
I'd write from boredom99's journal at the bottom.

What's your favorite Caroliner album?
I think from the ones I've heard so far I like Strike Them Hard, Drag Them To Church the best,
but I've only listened to about 6 of them so far.
I love rise of the common woodpile too.

I don't know your real name by the way.
