Alexis didn't bother me in the recent episode of Castle. I understood her there. She just sometimes she gets on my nerves. Castle is a show where people get murdered in new and weird way but it's kept fun by everyone generally liking each other and liking working together and Alexis showing up in an episode just to have an attitude is kind of a buzzkill but I get it.
I just saw that Doctor Who video the other day. So adorable.
LOL, it is kind of like she's Eeyore lately, always with the raincloud over her head, isn't it? She used to be all low maintenance and popping up for sugary sweet scenes with Castle and being all adorable, and now she's a moody teen, so I get why people don't like the writing. I just like that there are some consequences for the shooting- on the plus side, Castle and Beckett are pretty obviously in love, so hopefully no more stupid love interests (UNLESS THEY'RE SERENA, 'COZ I ADORED HER), on the downside, Alexis is going to be angsty.

I'm so glad new boss lady isn't harshing that squee. I was afraid SHE'd be a buzzkill, but she's been pretty funny, actually, with her unimpressed attitude.

I'm like you, it's not love, but I really enjoy it. And I used to dislike Jim Caviezel, but now I kinda like him.
High five! I'm not gonna get all obsessive and fangirly, but it's a nice distraction. And IDK if the guy can act or not, but his monotone action hero thing really works for this character. It's like Keanu Reeves, people call him a crap actor but his wooden face acting was so right for Neo, lol.
He did play Jesus after all. That did play a big part in my not liking him.

I don't think she's evil, but I think her campaign is totally ridiculous if only for the reason that she's completely hypocritical. So the play is going to cost $2,000.00 to put on, yet how much is her cheerleading budget?But...that's Sue. She's not claiming to be altruistic, she just wants what she wants and she does whatever it takes to get it. Ofc she's not going to cut her cheerleading budget for a good cause, but if she can cut the Arts to fund the special needs budget, then she's happy to do that

This was my favourite episode of the whole season so far! Well, this one and last week's.
I know it's a fandom fave, a lot of the reason being the shippiness, but I like Castle and Beckett to banter together while solving crimes, so them being split up for 3/4 of the ep and the serious tone wasn't my cup of tea.
Ofc you're not weird for liking the way it went down, it just hit my pet peeves. I prefer people to keep their head down unless they're action heroes, so I was kind of facepalming through it, but I can see why you'd like him being assertive and all.
I don't think he really had time to work out what to do, bb, and that guy came up behind him and he didn't even know he was there.
But he had to know that they'd be checking all the offices, he's surely seen this movie before, so he knows they'd do a sweep and him hiding behind a desk isn't going to keep him out of their view for long.

My journal is a reflection of who I really am. Amanda and Lisa are both my LJ friends, but I lock most of what I say even from them, because it's easier to be yourself with people who don't know you, than to be yourself with people who do know you and see you every day and will question you.
Not strange at all, bb. My thought on this is that people who don't know you don't have expectations or judge you, and it's easier to put yourself out there, and it's so much less stress, too. If I'm in a social situation, I'm filled with anxiety and it's hard to converse with people. LJ is safe and secure and I can polish my responses and work out my thoughts on my own time and everything, instead of being on the spot and trying to untangle my tongue.
Another thought- is it possible that the people you meet online are more like yourself and so you're able to talk about things with us than with people from RL who don't get fandom and whatever?
Personally, I don't lock my posts from the two people I know IRL, but that's 'coz they're lazy busy
